Vodafone describes this as the “SAC” issue
This occurs when there is a “compatibility issue” between your Sure Signal device and the location information provided during registration.
We’re yet to see this issue in our own diagnostics so if you do encounter this we’d love to hear how you got your Sure Signal working again. In the meantime if you’ve tried the normal reset procedures then your next step is to contact Vodafone Sure Signal support who should be able to assist you further.

I am having the SACS problem.
Reset SS all lights on. HSPDA H on the phone. Cannot call out rings once then drops the call. Can receive text.
I have informed VSSS and will keep you updated as to what is happening
Thanks Deepskisam, that would be useful.
Have you also tested the latency on your line using a service such as http://www.pingtest.net?
Have tested the latency which is fine. problem now is that VF are not responding to any of my contact.
Will keep updated
Just got a Sure Signal box. Attached to BT 2 wire router.
2 x IP3G & 1 x IP4 phones registered
after 3 calls to VF support (very helpful) but still not functioning
great signal & does everything but let us make an outgoing call
recipient phone will click/buzz but will not connect.
Power, System & phone lights lit on SS unit most of time – sometimes power & system lights only.
If VF cannot sort I have 4 days in which to return but would like it to work if possible.
