Now verified as working:

User assigned each device on my LAN a static IP address first. Although this isnt essential it prevents DHCP issuing new addresses when they expire that may render your newly created rules for the SS incorrect. NB. This may work by only setting the Sure Signal device with a static IP

Identify each device from its MAC address in the “connected clients” list then configure the settings under port forwarding (see: http://www.notsosuresignal.com/sure-signal/diagnostics/sure-signal-solid-power-light-and-slowly-flashing-light-2/).

You don’t need to assign each new rule a name like some other routers.
