Some Belkin routers (including this one) do not seem to display the Sure Signal in the list of DHCP clients even though DHCP has actually assigned an IP address. This is likely to be because the Sure Signal doesn’t issue a host name.
Unplugging all network devices except from one workstation / laptop and the Sure Signal then restarting the router should allow you to find the address handed to the device. (Try one pinging IP address either side of the IP address assigned to your workstation / laptop). Once you’ve found the address, make a record.
In the router setup:
Ensure WAN Ping Blocking is un-checked.
Virtual Servers – set as recommended, pointing to IP address you recorded earlier (x)
